Drenec was built by the Dutch ship yard Haarlemse Scheepsbouw, in 1964, as a working boat designed to spend long weeks on the open seas. In 1986, she was rebuilt and reborn as a high-class expedition vessel and spent the following years on expeditions to the Arctic, the Indian Ocean, Central America waters and the Mediterranean.

In 2012, she was completely refitted and upgraded in Malta with the luxury interior designed by Sophie Bouakel-Kastelein.

Drenec has 5 spacious guest cabins, four with double beds and one with a twin bed. All cabins have ensuite bathrooms equipped with heated towel holders, the large owner’s suite additionally features a bathtub. With designated workspaces and sofas, the cabins feel like comfortable hotel rooms, designed with a love for detail. All cabins are fully air-conditioned and have a flatscreen TV.

Guests have access to the large digital movie library through the yacht’s on-board media system.

The yacht has a crew of 5 to look after you and help you make the most of the yachts toys and guide you through the beautiful islands of the Mergui Archipelago. The yacht has on board diving gear and air compressor.

The twin cabin has the capacity to sleep three people and could be used as a childrens/family cabin so increasing the number of guest to 11.

This summer Drenec will offer two 3-night cruises per week, each with different itineraries. Both trips can be combined to a 6-night cruise. All trips depart from the city of Kawthaung, just across the border from Thailand.
