The sailing yacht Dallinghoo is a traditional gaff rigged topsail schooner that was built in 1990, though her classic lines suggest she is from an era long before that.
The yacht has a large air conditioned saloon with casual seating on the portside around a dining table for formal dining indoors though her large dining area on the after deck is probably more popular allowing you to entertain and dine under the stars. The saloon has a large TV with DVD.
The luxury yacht has accomodation for 8 guests in 4 cabins comprising of 3 double cabins and a twin. The Master Stateroom is aft with a double berth, seating area, storage and en-suite WC, hand basin and shower. The VIP Stateroom is a midship cabin with double berth, storage and en-suite WC, hand basin and shower. The double cabin forward portside with en-suite WC, hand basin and shower and finally the twin cabin forward has upper and lower bunks en-suite WC, hand basin and shower.
On board there is a crew of 6 to look after you and sail the yacht though if you want to help out on deck and sail the yacht the crew will help experience sailing a traditional yacht. On board she has two tenders, a dive station, air-conditioning throughout and a selection of water toys for your amusement.
Schooner Dallinghoo is off the drawing board of well-known yacht designer Dudley Dix from Rhode Island USA and was originally built in South Africa as “Spirit of Malvane” then after a number of years sailing throughout the Atlantic and the Mediterranean she finally arrived in South East Asia. The sail yacht has just undergone an extensive refit by ‘Sydney Harbour Boat Builders’ in their Yangon facilities lasting 18 months through 2015/16.
For flexability should a forth double cabin be required rather than the twin, there is the Captain’s Cabin, double cabin, behind the navigation station offering en-suite WC, hand basin and shower. This cabin is available for guest use, if a double bed is required and the Captain will move to the twin cabin.
The superyacht changes location to take best advantage of the seasons, and cruises the waters around the Singapore & Malaysia, Andaman Islands, Thailand & Myanmar (Burma), Indonesia, Borneo and the Philippeans.
