PG Yacht Design And The Design Crew present The Alter Ego Superyacht Concept

Italian studio PG Yacht Design has teamed up with Francesco Castello of The Design Crew for a new 43 metre all-aluminium concept called Alter Ego.

PG Yacht Design’s exterior places a strong emphasis on light and transparency, while Castello’s interiors make good use of natural and tactile materials such as onyx.

A large sliding glass door separates the main-deck cockpit from the saloon, where visual obstacles have been minimised to create the optimal view of the surroundings.

As a result, all the seating is low-level and informal, while both superyacht staircases are encased in glass to reinforce this atmosphere.

Moving forward and the owner’s cabin features fold-out balconies on both sides, a free-standing bath and floor-to-ceiling glazing by the vanity unit. Four further guest cabins below decks are arranged as two twins and two doubles, taking the total accommodation to ten.

Meanwhile, the crew quarters allow for a staff of up to nine people, including a bridge deck captain’s cabin.
