Jack Gifford Design Reveal Bermudian Cutter Superyacht Concept

Falmouth based, Jack Gifford Design, have revealed their first superyacht concept, a 30.5 metre sailing yacht with a Bermudian Cutter rig, the G100.

Guest accommodation will be in four double en suite cabins and she will sail with a crew of three berthed in one single and a twin cabin.

The sail yacht will have a beam of 6.7 meters, long keel and a 730 square metre sail plan. She will be built with an aluminium hull and superstructure, having a  displacement of about 100 tonne.

Power will be provided by a Volvo Penta DA-300 engine for a top speed of 12 knots under motor.

The concept has been  described by Gifford as “bringing together origins of style in design and innovation while producing modern performance.”

The yacht design will be presented during the Cannes and Monaco yacht shows next month by the fledgling studio, which launched this summer.
