The west coast of Italy and Sicily are rich in history, culture and art, and if that wasn’t enough, there’s the breathtaking scenery of beautiful bays along the picture postcard coast.

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean which is dominated by high mountains and the brooding Mount Etna.  At the southern end of “The Boot” lies the  tranquility of the Amalfi coast which offers the charm of Italy’s past and an appreciation for the quieter life.

Food plays an important role in just about everything that happens from daily life to famous events and festival and whether you step ashore in a rustic harbour or a bustling port you are guaranteed to find fantastic gourmet meals, and don’t forget the Wine!

The traditions of the sea are at the very heart of the Italians and today the country is the world leader in superyacht design and building.

The west coast of Italy, Sicily and their off-lying islands are both dramatic and idyllic and a superyacht is a great way to discovering the traditions and lifestyle of a country shaped by ancient civilizations, after all that’s how they arrived!
