Cantieri Navali Chioggia Announce Naucrates 130 Superyacht Concept

Italian shipebuilder Cantieri Navali Chioggia has released the first details of its latest superyacht concept, the Naucrates 130.

The 40 metre steel hull motor yacht has been designed in collaboration with Italian studio Green Yachts. The brief was to produce a vessel that will have good sea keeping even in rough conditions and explains why the Naucrates 130 is wider than usual at 10.26 metre and has a high almost vertical bow similar to off-shore supply boats.

Adaptability is also a key element in her design, she will have a multipurpose transom area, which can be used to store tenders or converted into a superyacht gym and the swimming pool can be covered and turned into a superyacht helipad.

Accommodation is for up to ten guests in five staterooms, comprising of three VIP suites and two double cabins.

The engines for the luxury yacht will be two 1,300hp Caterpillar C32 diesels giving a maximum speed of 14 knots and an economical cruising speed of eight knots, giving her a transatlantic cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles.
